THE Ministry of Health says 47 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, of which the youngest was a 1-year-old baby and the oldest was an 86-year-old female patient. And Secretary to the Cabinet Dr Simon Miti says President Edgar Lungu has commended health workers for doing a commendable job under difficult circumstances. Speaking during a press briefing, Tuesday, Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary in charge of Technical Services Dr Kennedy Malama said the cumulative number of confirmed cases recorded to date stood at 152,056. ā€œIn the last 24 hours, we recorded 2,395 new confirmed COVID-19 cases out of 9,952 tests conducted (24 percent positivity), bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases recorded to date to 152,056....
