DIRECTOR of Public Prosecutions DPP Lillian Shawa Siyunyi State Counsel has expressed displeasure at the action of the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) to re-arrest former Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) provisional liquidator Milingo Lungu. And the DPP has told DEC Director General Mary Chirwa to urgently exculpate herself for re-arresting Milingo on the same charges without receiving instructions from her office. State Counsel Siyunyi said she had received information from lawyers representing Milingo to the effect that DEC had re-arrested Milingo when the DPP’s office did not permit them to do so.
