DRUG Enforcement Commission (DEC) Director-General Mary Chirwa says she was not aware of the letter written by Solicitor General Marshal Muchende to Director of Public Prosecutions Lilian Siyunyi in January, this year, as she had not joined the commission by then. A letter recently emerged in which Muchende, State Counsel, wrote to Siyunyi in January this year asking her to consider postponing the taking of plea of former Konkola Copper Mines provisional liquidator Milingo Lungu, for a few days to allow for the conclusion of negotiations.
