FORMER president Edgar Lungu has expressed hope that former Ministry of Information permanent secretary Amos Malupenga’s book will help decision-makers become more impartial and fair as they judge others. And Lungu has urged people to read and fight with ideas as opposed to trying to get at each other and pulling each other down. Meanwhile, Malupenga has narrated how he almost gave up on “Conversations with Memorable Personalities” after suffering a major setback when its original script was stolen. During the book launch, former foreign affairs minister Joseph Malanji bought the book autographed by Lungu at K150,000 after outbidding several others during the auction, with Matero PF member of parliament Miles Sampa, his closest rival, bidding K120,000.
