DEPUTY Auditor General for Audits Francis Mbewe says there is a serious lack of capacity and monitoring systems in the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Treasury, adding that the treasury needs to put up short-term measures to recover loans. Speaking shortly after the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting, Thursday, Mbewe said inefficiencies at the Ministry of Youth and Sport were being passed on to the beneficiary of the loans. “It looks like where we are going, maybe things will get better.
