PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has honoured and awarded 10 people for the various important roles which they played in society. Among those honoured by the President during Africa Day celebrations at State House was Eves Siame (Chiefteness Waitwika) who was awarded with the President’s Insignia of Honour. The award was given to the traditional leader for her role played in uniting her chiefdom as well as in fighting vices like child marriages, Gender-Based Violence, teenage pregnancies, child abuse, poor sanitation, to mention but a few.
