THE Non-Governmental Gender Organizations Coordinating Council (NGOCC) says it is sad that Petauke Central independent member of parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda downplayed concerns about sexual reproductive health and girls’ rights, especially that Eastern Province has the highest teenage pregnancy statistics. On Tuesday, Health Minister Sylvia Masebo warned young girls engaging in early sex, especially with old men, to stop, saying it is harmful to their bodies.
