Siavonga Town Council Public Relations Officer Gwendolyn Mchenga says the ablution block recently commissioned at Kanyelele market is a donor funded project which cost K267,601.56 and not K270,000. Recently, the Siavonga Council commissioned an ablution block which some netizens claimed had been constructed at K270,000, and pictures of the building attracted some sharp criticism.
