ZESCO Limited spokesperson Henry Kapata says as per tradition, sensitive institutions and vital installations will be spared from the current rotational load shedding. In an interview, Tuesday, Kapata, however, clarified that not all hospitals were exempted from load shedding, but only major ones like the University Teaching Hospital. “Traditionally, whenever there is load management, we spare the sensitive institutions and vital installations. But you will realise that sensitive institutions – one would assume all the hospitals but we target the major ones.
