GOVERNMENT has expressed concern at what it terms as alarming rates of landscapes degradation in the country. And government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Wildlife Worldwide Fund (WWF) for the sustainable Luangwa project. Speaking during the signing ceremony, Tuesday, Minister of Green Economy and Environment Collins Nzovu said the MOU was aimed at setting out the terms under which the WWF GEF Agency will collaborate with his ministry in the implementation of the sustainable Luangwa project.
