FDD leader Edith Nawakwi has asked Chief Government Spokesperson Chushi Kasanda to retract the “grandmother” statement she recently made against her. Nawakwi recently challenged Kasanda to publish her CV in the newspaper, mocking her intellectual capabilities. But in response, Kasanda said Nawakwi was old enough to be her grandmother and that it was not in order for her to be attacking her grandchild. In a statement, however, Nawakwi demanded an immediate retraction of Kasanda’s statement. “If she wants to fight me politically based on the fact that I have served the nation in numerous capacities, then I ask her to bring her non-existent CV so she can show the nation what qualifications she holds against her so-called “grandmother”.
