THE four Zambians allegedly involved in the gold scandal have been formally arrested and charged with espionage and obtaining money by false pretences, lawyer Makebi Zulu has revealed. Zulu whose law firm is representing Shadreck Kasanda, has accused government of trying to cover up for the Egyptians by turning them into witnesses. Four Zambians; Kasanda, Mahogany Airlines chief executive officer Jim Belemu, Oswald Diangamo and Pilot Patrick Kawanu have been in detention for almost two weeks due to their alleged involvement in the gold scandal at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport about a fortnight ago.
