EMERITUS Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu says President Hakainde Hichilema and his predecessor Edgar Lungu should both put their pride aside and reach out to each other. Commenting on recent calls by Paramount Chief Mpezeni who asked President Hichilema and Lungu to find a common ground and reconcile, Archbishop Mpundu said the two leaders should put the country’s welfare first. “When you are a leader, you are not a leader for yourself, you have to lead people and people need good leaders. Now some think that by being very proud, then they can achieve anything, it’s pride, and pride comes before a fall.
