OUR Civic Duty Association (OCIDA) has accused the UPND administration of sponsoring the PF convention which elected Miles Sampa as party president so as to kill the main opposition party. The association charges that it will not stand by and watch the destruction of Zambia’s constitutional democracy by an “insecure and increasingly desperate” executive. OCIDA has further urged the new dawn government to stop what it terms as never-ending political arrests and detentions of opposition leaders and to instead fight the high cost of living.
