POLICE say the Socialist Party has willingly withdrawn its planned rally, which was scheduled for June 29, 2024, at Chawama – Misisi ground in Lusaka. In a statement, Thursday, Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale emphasised that the police were ready to police any public gathering or procession and were looking forward to maximum cooperation from all citizens. “The Socialist Party has willingly withdrawn their planned rally, which was scheduled for June 29, 2024 at Chawama – Misisi ground in Lusaka.
