EMMANUEL Jay Banda’s Lawyer Kennedy Mambwe has appealed to government to sit down and iron out issues with the lawmaker’s family instead of harassing them. Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu recently called on Banda’s mother to appeal to her son, whose whereabouts are unknown after disappearing from police custody, to surrender himself to the authorities. Earlier, Banda’s mother, Grace, had appealed to government to bring back her son. Commenting in an interview, Mambwe said it was prejudicial for government to assume that Banda’s mother knew where her son was.
