CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says it has taken former president Edgar Lungu three years to realise that he lost the 2021 general elections. Commenting on the crowd that Lungu pulled during his Tuesday presser at the PF secretariat, Mweetwa said the former head of state was trying to come back to normal after his defeat in 2021. “There is more money in circulation now legally, reaching more citizens than there was under the previous administration of Mr Edgar Lungu where only those who were connected were the major beneficiaries so for him to try and make a comparison as the case may be with President HH and his administration is a clear case of madness.
