THE Public Accounts Committee has heard that one of the companies contracted to supply half of the 156 ambulances under CDF is a pharmacy located in Lusaka’s Garden compound. And the Committee has heard that former ZAMMSA director general Victor Nyasulu requested that one of the ZAMMSA board members be included on a trip to Dubai, where a team went to conduct a pre-shipment inspection of the ambulances. Ace Pharmaceuticals and Aqueous Investments were contracted to procure 156 ambulances worth K336,173,760 through a limited bidding method.
