STATE House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka has justified the appointment of Principal Public Relations Officers in all the 25 Ministries and 10 Provincial Headquarters, saying there are many government positions which are not advertised. But the Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC) says it is concerned over the manner in which the appointments were made and is engaging relevant authorities to address their misgivings. On Tuesday, University of Zambia Media and Communications lecturer Dr Basil Hamusokwe questioned the criteria which government used to appoint Principal Public Relations Officers in all the 25 Ministries and 10 Provincial Headquarters.
