PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has fired Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gary Nkombo. According to a statement issued by State House Principal Private Secretary Bradford Machila, the President has appointed Sinazongwe MP Gift Sialubalo as the new minister. “President Hakainde Hichilema has pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia terminated the appointment of Hon. Gary G. Nkombo MP, as Minister of Local Government and Rural Development. The President has since appointed Sinazongwe Member of Parliament, Hon. Gift Simuunza Sialubalo as the new Minister.
