A CONSORTIUM of civil society organisations has called on government to communicate on the state of the economy and outline measures being undertaken to address the soaring cost of living which is causing “great hardship” for Zambians. This group of CSOs which includes Chapter One Foundation, CTPD, ActionAid Zambia, ACA, Bloggers of Zambia, CCCZ, TIZ, NGOCC and ZCSD, has highlighted the cost of mealie meal and fuel as major factors contributing to the high cost of living.
