Last week, renowned Constitutional lawyer John Sangwa State Counsel made an observation that the Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti had violated the Constitution by recognising a new leader of the opposition who had not been elected. Sangwa SC observed that the process of electing the leader of the opposition had not been followed. He also charged that Speaker Mutti had gone rogue in her conduct in the House as she seemed to be advancing the agenda of the ruling party.
