The Lusaka Magistrate Court has set July 6 as the judgement date in the matter in which Oracle Media proprietor, Mutinta M’membe, was found with a case to answer for obstructing court officials who went to her residence to execute a search warrant in February 2017.

When the matter came up, Thursday, for continuation of defence, Mutinta through her lawyer said she had opted to remain silent and would not be calling any witnesses.

Meanwhile, magistrate Fides Hamaundu adjourned the matter to July 6, 2018, for judgement.

It is alleged that Mutinta on February 15, 2017, in Lusaka, wilfully obstructed Japhet Mulenga from lawfully executing a search warrant issued by the Magistrate Court.

She had pleaded not guilty to the offence.
