THE Oil Marketing Companies Association of Zambia says it was expecting ERB to reduce fuel pump prices due to the decline in international oil prices following Donald Trump’s engagement with oil producing countries. On Friday, the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) increased the pump price of petrol from K34.67 to K34.98 and diesel from K32.43 to K32.54. ERB Board Chairperson James Banda attributed the increment to the increase in oil prices on the international market and the depreciation of the Kwacha against the United States dollar.
