COPPERBELT Province Minister Elisha Matambo has assured Kitwe residents that normal water supply will be restored on Tuesday or even earlier. Matambo says there was negligence on the part of Sino Metals Leach Zambia Limited, which led to the pollution of Mwambashi River, a tributary of the Kafue River. Meanwhile, Mines Minister Paul Kabsuwe says his ministry will step up countrywide inspections of all mines with tailing dams.
