IN a time when Zambians are grappling with unprecedented economic challenges, the recent actions of ruling party MPs in Parliament are nothing short of a betrayal. The decision to walk out just when their fellow member introduces a debate on the high cost of living is an affront not only to the dignity of the office but also to the millions of ordinary citizens struggling to put food on the table. It is timely to remind our government leaders to recognize this dereliction of duty and, more importantly, reflect on the consequences of their actions.
