THE Department of Immigration has disclosed that between April 17 and 21, 2025, it apprehended 248 suspected illegal immigrants of various nationalities for different immigration-related offences. The department says among these apprehensions, 47 individuals were nabbed during clean-up operations conducted on April 20 and 21, 2025, by the Kafue Immigration Office in Makeni, Chilanga and Kafue town.
