THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says the newly launched online voter pre-registration platform will allow citizens to initiate the registration process online and later complete it physically by appearing before a registration officer. ECZ Chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis says the platform will make voter registration more efficient and inclusive, particularly for citizens who are time constrained. Speaking during the official launch in Lusaka yesterday, Zaloumis urged all citizens who will turn 18 years on or before April 30, 2026, to ensure they register as voters during the stipulated period. “To facilitate participation, the Commission has introduced an online pre-registration portal which we are officially launching today, 15th of September 2025 and it will be available up to 3rd November 2025....
