THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) has granted Zambia a three-month technical extension of its Extended Credit Facility (ECF) Arrangement, pushing the deadline from October 2025 to January 30, 2026. Finance and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane has welcomed the IMF’s decision, stating that this development demonstrates their confidence in working with Zambia to complete the Sixth Review of the ECF Arrangement.
