PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has expressed concern about the slow pace at which the Tanzania-Zambia interconnector project is progressing. President Hichilema says Tanzania has excess power which Zambia needs and can pay for. Meanwhile, President Hichilema says he hopes that Malawi can raise the resources to pay for the 200,000 metric tonnes of maize it wants to purchase.
