THE National Congress Party (NCP) has rejoined the Tonse Alliance faction led by Given Lubinda. On November 1, NCP officially cut ties with Tonse, citing an attempt by Lubinda and other alliance members to hijack the party for their own benefit. But in a communiqué issued by Tonse faction Spokesperson Ephraim Shakafuswa, Monday, NCP and United for Better Zambia (UBZ) were re-admitted to the alliance after a Tonse Alliance Council of Leaders meeting held yesterday.
