TRADERS at Katambalala Railside Market in Matero have welcomed the newly constructed market shelter funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), describing it as a major relief from years of operating under harsh weather conditions. However, they have appealed to authorities to address persistent challenges related to drainage, sanitation and electricity. The market shelter in Lima Ward 30 was officially handed over to the community on November 19, 2025, by Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata, marking a significant milestone for more than 300 traders who previously conducted business in the open.
