A 40-YEAR-OLD woman of Lusaka has been dragged to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for stealing various properties valued at K48,850 from several people. Bertha Chulu is alleged to have stolen, among other things, phones, shoes, and ATM cards. In this matter, Chulu is charged with three counts of theft contrary to Section 272 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
