POLICE in Western Province have disclosed that a 40-year-old man from Kaoma District has been sentenced to five years imprisonment with hard labour for the offence of theft of stock. In a statement yesterday, Western Province Commissioner of Police Rae Hamoonga revealed that on February 13, 2026, the accused appeared before the Lukulu Magistrate Court, pleaded guilty and was jailed on the same day. “The Zambia Police Service in Western Province wishes to inform the public that a 40-year-old man, Loyd Mwizabi of Kwasoni area, Chief Kabilamwandi, Kaoma District, has been sentenced to five years imprisonment with hard labour for the offence of theft of stock.
