LUAMPA District has launched a major rural road upgrade programme under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). Luampa Town Council Secretary Isaac Mwale, who inspected the ongoing works on the Lui Mulwa Road, expressed satisfaction with the progress made using the newly procured CDF earth-moving equipment. He noted that the roads, which were previously sandy and difficult to navigate, are now being formed and upgraded. “From the outlook, you can see that the road is being improved. What remains now is to compact it, and this will greatly benefit the people,” said Mwale.
