LEVY Mwanawasa Medical University management has advised students residing in unregistered boarding facilities to relocate to those approved by the university for safety, security and sanitation standards. Yesterday, students took to the streets for a second day in a row after Sunday’s protest over escalating rape and theft cases targeting female students’ boarding houses in PHI and surrounding areas. The visibly irate students refused to be addressed by Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary Kelvin Mambwe, demanding an audience with President Hakainde Hichilema.
