DR Fred M’membe has picked Dolika Banda as his running mate under the People’s Pact for the August 13 general election. Banda was until recently John Sangwa’s running mate under the Movement for National Renewal (MNR) before Sangwa decided to withdraw from the 2026 general election race, citing government delays in registering the movement. Meanwhile, Banda says if the past five years represent the best government can offer, then Zambians must admit that they have settled for less.
