THE Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) has unveiled Luapula PF MP Chanda Katotobwe as the party’s presidential candidate for the August 13 general elections. Making the announcement yesterday, PeP leader Sean Tembo said Katotobwe’s candidature positions him as the party’s vehicle into the general elections, while he, Tembo, takes up the role of running mate. Meanwhile, Katotobwe, in the company of Tembo, failed to pay the K100,000 nomination fee yesterday after they found ECZ offices closed after 17:00. Tembo said it was shocking that the offices were closed at 17:00 despite a 24-hour economy.
