CHIPOLOPOLO striker Patson Daka last night recorded his first assist for new club Hamburger SV in the German Cup DFB-Pokal on his competitive debut. Daka, who played the full 90 minutes, provided the assist for Hamburger’s first goal against Verl in the 40th minute, setting up Albert Gronbaek in the round of 32 fixture. Hamburger, who were playing away from home, went on to win the match 3-0 after Gronbaek added a second to complete his brace, before Louis Lemke added a third. The DFB-Pokal is Germany’s main national knockout football cup competition.
