MINISTER of Small and Medium Enterprises Elias Mubanga has advised SMEs whose businesses have been affected by floods to access loans at his ministry. In an interview, Monday, Mubanga said the loans were not emergency loans but something that could provide them some relief. “Some [SMEs] are in business, and you know these tuntemba (kiosks) businesses, when they finish selling in the night, they take their merchandise in their homes, and then in the morning you find your sack submerged in water.
