ASSOCIATION of Mine Suppliers and Contractors (AMSC) says government should in the short to medium term finance Mopani and KCM operations as it negotiates with investors so that the mines do not become unattractive. In an interview, AMSC president Costa Mwaba lamented that the existence of suppliers and contractors was being threatened due to non-payment for goods and services supplied to both mining companies. “The situation has been very very sad for suppliers and contractors.
