THE Road Development Agency (RDA) has observed that most truck drivers lack adequate knowledge about the maximum weights permissible for transportation on public roads. Speaking to journalists before touring the Kafue weighbridge, Tuesday, RDA Acting Corporate Affairs Manager Anthony Mulowa said it was for this reason that the agency had embarked on a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of the importance of effective axle load control. “As you are aware, the Road Development Agency is mandated to construct and rehabilitate roads in Zambia.
