LABOUR Commissioner Givens Muntengwa says there will be no basis for truck drivers to start a strike as the process to address their plight was underway. Truck drivers have announced their intention to go on an infinite strike, starting March 1, 2024, in a move to protest against poor working conditions. Earlier this week, the SADC Truck Drivers Association of Zambia clarified that the strike that drivers intend on starting to demand for broad interests, among other issues was sanctioned by Steven Musunga a Tanzanian national.
