THE Zambezi River Authority (ZRA) says as at yesterday, the recorded lake level at Kariba was 477.66m with 9.72 Billion Cubic Meters (BCM) of stored usable water, indicating a slight drop from what was recorded on the same date last year. And the Authority has advised Zesco and Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) to maintain strict adherence to their water allocation thresholds to sustain generation to the end of the year, given that the Kariba inflows are so far below average.
