THE National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) says it collected K1.5 billion from toll gates from January to May 2024. The agency says it has disbursed these funds to road projects and related activities being undertaken by RDA, RTSA and the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure. Speaking at the ongoing Zambia International Trade Fair in Ndola, NRFA Public Relations Manager Alphonsius Hamachiila said from the 27 in-land tollgates, the agency collected K798 million, while K767 million was collected from the 11 ports of entry across the 10 provinces of Zambia. “The National Road Fund Agency is the lead tolls agent in the collection of tolls across the country.
