ECONOMIST Lubinda Haabazoka says IMF Resident Representative in Zambia Eric Lautier is correct that there’s too much politics in Zambia’s economic discourse at the moment, but argues that one cannot separate the two. And Dr Haabazoka says he doesn’t think that the government will offload any state assets because they know where Zambians stand when it comes to privatisation.
