THE Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) has launched the Engineering Fund, aimed at empowering engineering professionals to develop and implement solutions that contribute to the country’s economic growth. EIZ Fund Chairperson, Engineer Bernard Chiwala, said the Fund has an initial seed capital of K500,000. Meanwhile, EIZ President Engineer Wesly Kaluba noted that Zambia has a wealth of engineering talent but often struggles to translate that talent into practical innovations capable of driving economic growth.
