THE Lusaka High Court has refused to join former president Edgar Lungu’s daughter, Tasila, in the matter in which Director of Public Prosecutions Gilbert Lungu wants her farm in Sinda District forfeited to the state. High Court Judges Susan Wanjelani, Pixie Yangailo and Vincent Siloka said in their ruling that Tasila cannot be joined to the proceedings as the application for forfeiture is against the property and not against a person. “It is our considered view that the intended respondent here (Tasila) can not be joined to these proceedings because the application for forfeiture is against the property and not against a person such as the intended respondent.
