FORMER Lusaka minister Bowman Lusambo has fired one of the lawyers representing him in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court in a matter in which he is facing two counts of possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime. This was after the court denied his application for an adjournment as his preferred lawyers Makebi Zulu and Nkula Botha were not present before court yesterday. In this matter, Lusambo is charged with two counts of possession of property reasonably suspected of being proceeds of crime Contrary to Section 71 of the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act No. 19 of 2010.
