TWO foreign tourists have sued the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) demanding US$10 million in damages for false imprisonment and malicious prosecution on a theft charge. Davit Bokuchava and Demuri Kukhelshvili, who are Georgian citizens, have also cited the Attorney General as a respondent. The duo wants aggravated and exemplary damages for malicious prosecution amounting to $1.5 million each, $3 million in total as well as aggravated and exemplary damages for assault amounting to $500,000 each, $1 million in total.
